I probably have like 15 silicone spatulas.. but, these are my absolute favorite- I mean, I have 3 of them!! And they’ve lasted me for 10+ years now. They are the largest ones I own, but shaped in a way that they’re basically useful for everything. Plus, I don’t like ones that have a wooden handle that makes it weird and harder to clean. The top slides off easily for further cleaning, and you can throw both parts in the dishwasher.
This little guy is super handy and nice to keep around for when you need lots of minced garlic, but you don’t want to actually mince it… really easy to use, and surprisingly easy to clean. Also dishwasher friendly!
I also somehow own 2 of these (and also actually one of their larger sized ones), I’m not entirely sure why… but, I’m not upset! Microplane makes the best zesting tools out there- easy to use and clean. This is one of those tools that I don’t think is just for convenience sake… there’s no way you could get as fine of zest on your own! Perfect for all those baked goods that you need just a hint of orange or lemon.
I fell for the zoodle craze… but somehow, those darn spiralized zucchini noodles are actually pretty tasty! This spiralizer hasn’t failed me yet. To be honest, I really only use one or two settings for mostly just zucchini noodles.. but even for that, it’s been worth it.

Ice Cream Maker
OK I don’t think my love of ice cream and making ice cream is a secret on this blog. This is my trusty ice cream maker that has stuck it out with me for also 10+ years now. Really easy to use and clean. Dangerously easy.
Yes, I have to put the Instant Pot on here, even if maybe everyone has one now. Because, for those that don’t have one yet… I hope you’ll consider getting it! It’s incredibly useful and versatile, and honestly makes some dishes so much quicker and easier. I’d never owned any slow cookers or pressure cookers before this, and in some ways I’m thankful because now I can just have it all in one with this! Favorite uses- BBQ ribs, BBQ brisket, BBQ pulled pork…. OK and also pasta, mac and cheese, and frozen chicken to become super quick shredded chicken for salads.
OK we’re getting to the work-horses of my kitchen. Thank you to Kitchen Aid, because this and my stand mixer are the most indispensable things I have. It helps making pie crust and all other pastries a breeze.. plus anything savory you’d like too- finely diced vegetables (dumpling filling!!), sauces, pesto, pizza dough (yes!), etc!!
Kitchen-Aid Stand Mixer
OK this is #1!!! I bought this 15 years ago, and it’s yet to fail me. It has 3 basic attachments- the flat beater (for most use like creaming butter, etc), whisk, and dough hook for kneading dough. I use it for literally everything… cookies, cakes, frosting, cheesecake filling, whipped cream, meringues, bread dough. The size of the bowl is also great- much less likely for things to be flying out of your bowl when you’re mixing things, and can hold pretty much all batters that you need. And still fits in your fridge for when you need to chill doughs too. I can’t really imagine baking without this… I mean, you could do it? but then you’d be crazy and tired. I’ve always thought about getting extra bowls for when you need to make several things at once, or also they have a LOT of other attachments like pasta roller, etc. Maybe one day!
